What do we do?
The Web Strategy Committee of the Hempstead Bay Sailing Club is a dedicated group of individuals focused on harnessing the power of modern web technologies to enhance the club's connection with both potential new members and existing members. Our mission is to improve the digital presence of the club, making it more accessible, engaging, and user-friendly. By implementing innovative web solutions and strategies, we aim to not only attract sailing enthusiasts looking for a community but also to provide current members with a seamless online experience. Whether it's through a revitalized website, engaging social media content, or efficient online membership management, the Web Strategy Committee is committed to propelling the Hempstead Bay Sailing Club into a bright and connected future.

The new website is live and was shared with the Board last week for review. The old website has not changed and remains accessible. We are proposing to the Board to switch to the new website at the end of March to help membership recruitment in the Spring.

A Slack workspace has been created. Membership has been invited to try it out. Feel free to reach out if you need help getting access.

This initiative is in its exploration phase. It aims to provide our members and fans with an easy way to purchase their favorite sailing club merchandise, from apparel to accessories, supporting the club while sporting its colors with pride.
