2026 Annual Recognition Dinner

Hello HBSC Sailors!

The boats may be heading for the yard, but the best night of the season is still ahead of us. Join us on Saturday, November 21st at the Wantagh Inn for our annual Recognition Dinner, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM: an evening of trophies, toasts, and tall tales (a few of them even true) from the 2026 season.

At a glance When: Saturday, November 21, 6:00 to 10:00 PM Where: Wantagh Inn, 3264 Railroad Ave, Wantagh, NY Tickets: Adults $75 · Teens $60 · Pre‑teens $25 RSVP: to Pete Johansen (petejohansen@gmail.com) by Saturday, November 14 Payment: cash or check, Zelle to petejohansen@gmail.com, or Venmo @Peter-Johansen-6

Whether you won your fleet, crewed every Sunday, ran the committee boat, or simply brought the best snacks to the dock, this night is for you. Bring your family and your crew!

New to the club, or only made it out a couple of times this season? Come anyway. There is no better night to meet the fleet, swap a few sea stories, and line up a boat (or a crew) for next season.

Bonus points at dinner if you can read the signal flags above. Hint: check what the committee boat is flying, too.

Please RSVP to Pete by Saturday, November 14th. We can't wait to celebrate with you: fair winds and following seas! 🥂⛵
